Travelling with my son and his partner meant that we wanted a two-bedroom apartment so that we could spend time together and not have two separate hotel rooms. But we still wanted somewhere that was close to the action in Whistler Village. We also wanted the option of being able to cook meals if we wanted to. Lake Placid Lodge gave us a great location near the centre of the Village, a good-sized room and all the facilities that we needed. It was clean and tidy and warm and quickly became our home away from home. Using the underground garage made it easy to get in and out of Whistler. And it had a gas log fire too, which made it really cozy. The supermarket and all the shops were conveniently close.

It was a warm and cozy apartment. Nice fireplace and great beds. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. The apartment is close to the ski lift, and across the street is a small shopping street for groceries and ski rentals.

• One Bedroom Suite

Whistler Vacation Club at Lake Placid Lodge is exactly what a vacation property should be. The Check-in desk called me in advance and emailed everything I needed to check-in. Lots of parking with luggage carts available in the elevator lobby. We really liked and enjoyed the bathrobes - such a nice touch. Thank you! The room had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and extra towels. I would like to book this property for next year. Cannot say enough good things about it. Excellent Hot tub and pool.
